Our Story
Back in high school in 2012, I was very fond of jewelry and also had a pretty nice coin collection going. At the time I did not connect the dots to form both coins and jewelry into one design until I saw inspiration…
The inspiration started when I found an old penny with a hole through it in my Dads coin collection in middle school. I had the idea to hook a wire through the penny and tie it to one of my beach type beaded necklaces. I strutted that necklace in 5th grade like it was a million dollars!
Fast forward some years to a senior in high school, I found that old penny that I used to strut around with around my neck. Having that coin collection and continuing to wear jewelry, I started practicing to make a whole new type of jewelry… Made from money!
Ever since that revelation, the Lord kept revealing to me new ideas on what to experiment with and make from a basic coin. In reality, typical items only have one use, but when you look at those items from different perspectives, it becomes something more than just a single item, it can become anything you want. We have been given and blessed with an imagination, and it would be wrong of us not to use it and bring those ideas to life, so let’s see how far our imagination can take us!
